Hello everyone!
You know those girls that always seem to have impossibly amazing silky hair? Yeah you know which ones I'm talking about. They never have a bad hair day and the condition of their hair is impeccable. How do they manage to accomplish such a feat? Well it's easier than it seems. When you dare to ask them, the answer you will most likely always receive will go something like this..
"Oh thanks! I barely wash it, to be honest."
Yup.
The key to good hair is not washing it every day. Why? because you dry it out, and make your scalp over produce oils. So then you wind up with hair that is majorly unbalanced. If you hold off on washing so frequently, you hair will become more nourished, and when you do wash it, it will look all the more amazing. Now I know it can be difficult to not wash your hair, so here are a few tips that have really helped me.
Embrace the top knot - It'll be your go to cute hairstyle. It always looks chic and effortless.
Dry shampoo is your best friend - it gives your hair volume and absorbs the oiliness from your hair.
Slick it back - maybe give the slick ponytail a try? You're bound to feel fierce.
Try overnight heatless waves/curls - it'll give your hair some life after it hasn't been washed. You'll wake up the next morning with hair that looks and feels fresh.
Wear a hat - This is such a go to for me. A hat will never let you down. There are so many stylish one out there too!
Hope these tips are helpful in your hair endeavours!
Love,
Tabitha

Are you really ready to go Short?
Hello Lovelies,
Today I just wanted to have a quick chat with you guys about the pros and cons of going shorter with your hair. See, I've had long hair my whole life, but lately I've been thinking about going shorter, specifically a lob type of hairstyle. The reason I've been wanting to go shorter is simply because I desperately need a change, and I feel like my long hair is starting to drag me down. I know that before I take the plunge however, that I'll have to know what to expect and really weigh out the pros and cons, because nothing is worse that regretting a haircut right after you get it done. I'm sure we've all been there...
One thing you need to really consider before going shorter is your hair texture. Do you have wavy hair? Curly hair? If so, that means it's going to bounce up the minute you cut it. If you want it to still remain past your shoulders, be sure to get your hair cut at a length that gives your hair that room to spring up.
Next, you need to think about how you're going to style it. One thing that makes short hair super appealing is that it takes less time to curl or straighten. However, are you the type of girl that like to wear a ponytail? Going shorter may prove to make getting your hair into a ponytail difficult, and even if you do manage to get it back, it's going to look very different. It will be less long and less full.
Here's a serious plus for short hair; you use less shampoo and conditioner, and it takes way less time to dry! Hurrah!
Also take into account your face shape. Is your face very round? If so, be sure to find a cut that will truly flatter this face shape. Certain styles can either slim your face or make it look rounder, so be sure to look at hair models and celebrities who have a similar face shape to you when looking for a hair inspiration photo.
Are you okay with having pieces of hair touching your face? Some people can't stand this! I had a friend who would go crazy if she had a single layer brush against her cheek. If you're one of these people, it may be best to go with a cut that is at least past your shoulder and that it is blunt or has minimal layers.
As you can see, there are so many different things you need to take into account if you've been thinking of going shorter with your hair. It may prove to not be worth it for you, or it could be that exact change you need to spice up your hair game! I hope that this article has been of help to you if you're in a similar predicament as me!
lots of love :)

My Favorite DIY Conditioning Treatment
Hello Loves,
Today I wanted to share with you all my absolute favorite way to give my hair a pick me up. This is great to do once a week, or even twice a week during drier, winter months. I actually just did it last night, and my hair feels amazing now, which is what inspired me to write about my experience today. This is perfect for any hair type, but especially for those of you who have dry hair. You'll love this!
Basically after I've showered (I shower at night) I wait for my hair to dry so that it is slightly damp, and then I apply organic oils throughout my hair and scalp. My favorite oils to use are argan oil and rosehip oil, but I think that coconut oil is lovely as well. All are super moisturizing and overall wonderful for hair. I start off with just taking three drops and running it through my ends. I then take around three more and move upwards, starting to spread a little more throughout my scalp. I then repeat the process. I probably end up using about twelve drops. Any more and you'll look like a serious grease monkey. After the oils are all applied, I take about five minutes to really work the oils into my hair and give myself a little scalp massage, which not only feels amazing, but also promotes healthy hair growth. Afterwards, to ensure I don't drag my oily hair all over the place, I put it up into a loose bun and sleep with it up. If you're going out the next morning, be sure to wash your hair with a good shampoo and conditioner thoroughly. I always use a little more shampoo than I normally do. Once your hair dries, your hair will feel SO SOFT. If you intend to spend the day at home, try to wait to wash your hair even longer, and maybe try to wash it at night. That will make the treatment super intensive.
This is absolutely my favorite treatment for my hair because it's fairly easy, and I love the results. If you want to give your hair some love, give this treatment a try! :)
